Senior Pastor
Craig & Carisa Carr
We arrived in the spring of 2008 and have enjoyed becoming friends with the wonderful people of the Adventist church. We think they are very special, and their loving concern is evident the moment you walk through the door. It is our goal to see Christ's character perfected in us as we unite together in sharing His gospel of love and grace to the world around us. As a brief introduction, after six years working in health care administration, we began our ministry in Greeneville, Tennessee in the fall of 1997. From the summer of 1999 to the fall of 2001 we were in Michigan while I completed a Master's of Divinity degree at Andrews University SDA Theological Seminary. From the fall of 2001 to the summer of 2004 we ministered in Crossville, Tennessee. Then we became a part of the Savannah First church family in Savannah, Georgia in the summer of 2004 until we moved here to Boulder in 2008. Our ministry centers around empowering others to share from their own experience the loving gospel message of Jesus Christ with everyone around us. Carisa enjoys teaching 1st and 2nd grade at Vista Ridge Academy, our K-12 grade school located in Erie. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from East Tennessee State University. Our daughter Cassie is in 5th grade, and our energetic son Christian attends 3rd grade at Vista Ridge Academy. They both bring us much joy and happiness. Maybe we’ll have a few more pictures posted by the time you visit this site again. As Senior Pastor, it is my job to lead, facilitate, and inspire others to see themselves as disciples of Jesus Christ with a passion for loving God and loving others. It is my desire for Christ to be lifted up through every sermon I preach, every committee I lead, every interaction with others, and every act of service to the community around me. Please, if you have any suggestions for me, please send me an email. Favorite Bible verse – Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of god, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” |
Well hello there; I’m glad you surfed by for a visit.
